Food and Drink : Malaysian Pop-up Kitchen set to take Sheffield by storm.

Mak Tok’s Malaysian Pop-up Kitchen will be taking over ‘Oliver’s’ in Sharrow Vale for one night only.

The 10th December will see the company, who are known for their Malaysian Chilli Paste, hosting their first pop-up kitchen.

For starters, they will be offering a choice of satay chicken or satay tofu which they say will be bursting with nutty flavours. This will be followed by a choice of Nyonya Laksa and Nasi Lemak, with either chicken or tofu.

Nyonya Laksa is noodles served in a rich coconut broth, complemented with prawns. There will only be 50 bowls of this on offer so they recommend to get down early! Nasi Lemak consists of coconut rice with sides of cucumber, egg, and peanuts. Mains will start at £7.50.
