Forming back in November 2019, Ocean floor a 5 piece hailing from Hartlepool have already got 3 released singles out this year alone. Described as being “one of the most positive and upbeat bands” the subject of their latest single has a more tedious approach. The lyrics describe the humdrum of lockdown and the daily struggles the mind faces during it “HOW MANY TIMES DO I HAVE TO DO IT” garnering the Groundhog Day feels facing many of us right now.
Released on their 1st year anniversary their 4th single WET SOCKS is out now and is already racking up the listens. Having already established themselves a decent fan base and support despite the trials and tribulations of what has been the year 2020, the single still has that joyous feel to it that is familiar with OCEAN FLOORS clearly established sound. The melodic beat that has you finding your tapping your feet along without realizing. Having already played sold out shows BC (Before COVID) the band look to have a promising future together.
Currently a Go-Fund me page has been set up to help spearhead studio time to record their debut EP stating any donation is a step closer to their dream. Which I’m pretty sure is getting closer and closer everyday. Check out the new single now streaming on all socials.
