Hiya folks thanks for joining us in the virtual RGM lounge today, grab a brew and take a seat. What made you decide to become a soloist?
I think I always felt this need to create my own sound. Not a lot of artists in Montreal dig the same inspirations as me, I think my sound is very different from what’s being done locally.
It’s been a bit of a wild last year, how have you guys managed to pass time and stay sane during lockdown in Canada?
Man, the lockdown was rough, early curfew was definitely the worst. But things are slowly coming back to normal, FINGERS CROSSED ;)!
How much are you looking forward to playing live?

Pulling up the old acoustic guitar and strum some Ziggy Stardust’s classics !
What was the most fun you have had on stage?
Probably during my first gig ever, I and my first band were playing at our high school, we had no experience and we were enjoying every second of it! What was the worst experience on stage? I played with this band once who was hired to do a show at some graduation at Princeton University. It was so bizarre, American kids hammered out of their minds everywhere.
Tell us something about you that you think people would be surprised about?
Kaytranada once remixed a song I wrote, back in the day !
Do you sign up to any conspiracy theories?
Conspiracy what? Folks are allowed to believe what they want, but I just cannot…
If you had to describe your sound to an alien how would you describe them?
Friendly Laser beams coming to say hello !
If you could play any music festival which would it be?
It would be the forgotten T in The Park, such an iconic festival.
Best gig you’ve been to that you weren’t playing?
Julian Casablancas Solo tour 2010.
What advice would you give your younger self?
Be harder on yourself hahaha!
What tips do you have booking tours and managing the travel?
Enjoy the culture where ever you go, you need to try an absorb a little even if its sometimes draining, there are so any beautiful places in the world.

Green With Envy, you’ll have to come to the show.
We sure will! Tell me about your new album and how it came about?
Hammer down, it’s the perfect theme for a sunset party with drinks and best friends. I wrote and recorded must of this record during the lockdown, it’s the soundtrack to feeling free and alive again!
